WANTED MURDER SUSPECT

On Sunday, December 13, 2015, at 2:20 a.m., a dispute erupted between two groups in front of the Standard Hotel, located at 550 south Flower Street in downtown Los Angeles. The dispute escalated into a physical confrontation at which time suspect, Jamaine Harrington, fired several rounds into the group. One victim sustained a gunshot wound to the buttocks and the second victim sustained a gunshot wound to the lower back. Harrington then fled on foot eastbound on 6th street from Flower Street.
In the parking lot located at the northwest corner of 6th Street and Hope Street, behind the Standard Hotel, Harrington became involved in a second shooting incident with one of the males from the victim's group. Harrington exchanged gunfire with a third victim, striking him in the upper leg. One of the rounds fired by Harrington fatally struck Thomas Johnson in the torso.
