LASD Homicide and the City of Compton Ask for the Public’s Assistance

Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying the individual(s) responsible for the death of Victim Roberto Lucio. Twenty-five-year-old Roberto lost his life on Sunday, June 28, 2015, when he was shot in pre-noon daylight, in the presence of his girlfriend and infant daughter.

As the young family stood together near the intersection of 154th Street and Nestor Avenue, Compton, an unknown male suspect who drove a dark gray Kia Optima stopped his vehicle near them, exited the driver’s side door and shot at the victim and his family.
