ATTEMPT TO IDENTIFY
ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECT

Date: May 14, 2013 Time: 1125 hrs
Location: DBA “Don Roberto Jewelry” 9066 Whittier Blvd, Pico Rivera
Suspect: MB/504-505/thin build/light bro eyes/goatee, wearing yellow/cream dress shirt, black slacks, yellow tie, and a kangol style hat.
Suspect Vehicle: Grey vehicle, nfd.
Loss: $100,000 in yellow and white gold bridal ring sets. Sets contained numerous diamonds on each ring.
Crime Summary: On 5/14, the suspect walked into the location requesting to look at a ring set. The employee asked the suspect for photo identification, and the suspect stated he left it in his car. The suspect then pulled out a handgun, placed it against the victim’s temple and ordered her to open the display case. The suspect pulled out a bag from his pocket and told her to fill it up. The suspect then left the location on foot and entered a grey vehicle.

On Sunday July 29, 2012, at approximately 2:15 am, officers responded to a radio call of shots fired in the 1000 block of S. Osage Avenue in the City of Inglewood. When the officers arrived they found the victim, Sergio Velez Jr., suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and he died at the scene. Mr. Velez was confined to a wheelchair and was not able to flee from the area prior to the shooting.
Anyone who witnessed this murder or who was in the area and has information concerning this crime is asked to call the Inglewood Police Department Homicide section at (310) 412-5246, attention Detective Loyd Waters, or the 24-hour anonymous hotline number "888-41-CRIME” (888-412-7463).

ATTEMPT TO IDENTIFY

ON 4/14/2013 AT 0805 HOURS, THE VICTIM WAS WALKING EAST ON CIENEGA AVE NEAR TREANOR AVE, COVINA WHEN THE SUSPECT RAN UP TO THE VICTIM FROM BEHIND AND GRABBED HER SHOULDER. HE THEN PUSHED HER BACK TO A CEMENT WALL.
THE SUSPECT BEGAN STRIKING THE VICTIM IN THE HEAD/FACE AREA WITH HIS FISTS. THE FORCE OF THE STIKES CAUSED HER TO FALL TO THE GROUND.
WHILE ON THE GROUND, THE SUSPECT KICKED HER AND SHE CURLED UP INTO A BALL TO PROTECT HER PREGNANCY. AT THIS POINT THE VICTIM YELLED “I’M PREGNANT.” THE SUSPECT STOPPED KICKING THE VICTIM AND RAN WEST BOUND.
SUSPECT: M/H, DARK CLOSE SHAVED HEAD, 506-508, 130-150, 23-25 YRS OLD.
WEARS DARK COLORED, THICK RIMMED GLASSES.
THERE HAVE BEEN FOUR ADDITIONAL INCIDENTS IN THE AREA AND ARE POSSIBLY BEING COMMITTED BY THE SAME SUSPECT. SOME OF THE INCIDENTS INVOLVE SEXUALLY GROPING THE VICTIM.

Date: 03/26/13 Time: 2059 hrs
A black SUV parked in the far end of the parking lot at location, with its lights off, facing the front doors, for a period of time. When the majority of customers had exited, the vehicle sped to the front and the suspects exited it and entered the store. While the first suspect robbed the cashier at gunpoint, the second held the last customer at bay with a crowbar. The suspects returned to the SUV and were last seen eastbound on Sheila Street until out of view.

A fight broke out between members of ELA Bikers motorcycle club and unknown males in front of the bar. A male passenger in the vehicle pictured above, a primer black Acura, 2 door with rear tinted window and chrome wheels, partial plate 4M, shot several rounds as it fled s/b Atlantic Av. The rounds struck a neighboring business, nearly missing the occupants.

On Saturday, January 12th 2013, deputies from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to three separate incidents regarding female victims reporting their wallets had been stolen. Detectives from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station began an immediate investigation into the three incidents. It was discovered a female (pictured above) driving a silver Cadillac SUV with paper license plates, entered various locations posing as the victims and used their driver licenses and credit cards to obtain cash and jewelry.
Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Deputies are seeking the public assistance in identifying the female seen in the above photos. The above photos were recently obtained from bank security cameras and show a clear view of the unidentified white female suspect who reportedly used the victim’s credit card to obtain cash advances. It is believed this unidentified female may reside outside of the Santa Clarita Valley area. She is being sought for questioning at this time in connection with a number of theft incidents in Los Angeles County. Summary: On 01/13 at approx. 2136 hrs, two suspects removed a wall mounted air conditioner unit from the exterior of the structure and made entry. The suspects spent several minutes prying open the cash register. After taking the cash, the suspects took 20 cases of beer, several packages of cigarettes and grabbed stacks of lottery scratcher tickets which they left behind.
